Chronicles: 2022 – 23

1. BIS organized yoga shibir for 3 days from 30th May, 2022 to 2nd June, 2022, to boost the concentration, to have proper behavior and to increase immune among children. Mrs. Prema Gudadinni mam and Mrs. Roopa Desai mam trained Basava Family.

2. From 13th June, 2022 Principal announced the star of week, Best Teacher of the week, Best Class by observing the behavior, discipline and responsibility in the campus, it was honoured by Chairman, Prof. Shivakumar Harlapur. 

3. On the eve of father's Day all our children wished their father and expressed their love. In the assembly, Darwin house children Sangamesh Hugar and Anvita Hiremath performed a skit to show the value of father in every family.

4. On 21st June, 2022 yoga day was celebrated by the help of physical instructor and different types of Asanas were exhibited with their benefits by higher class students.

5. On 23rd June, 2022 Mock Election was organized to select the leaders for all houses- Nobel, Darwin, Newton and Raman and school head boy Kumar Prajwal Pujari and school head girl Kumari Ritika Illur were selected.

6. On 26th June 2022, we organised Teacher Enrichment programme by resource person Mr Shivanand Gokavi – on classroom management, how to maintain professional life and personal life, time management etc.

7. We celebrated Doctor's day on 1st July, 2022, children performed a skit in the assembly and remembered their service during COVID period.  All of us prayed god to give health and age to all doctors who are serving to the mankind.

8. On 8th July, 2022 to teach the day-to-day business and value of money we had taken 4th grade children to market to buy vegetables and grocery by bargaining. After coming from market everybody explained about their expenditure and the money remained back.

9. On 9th July, 2022 for KG section blue day and mansoon day was celebrated by wearing blue dress and brought blue and colourful umbrellas. And teachers explained about blue colour and where the blue colour will be. The same day Singing Competition was organised from grade 1stto 9th more than 85 students participated and sung well.

10. On 27th July, 2022 Investiture ceremony was organised to honour leaders with Sas and badge by Mrs Vanishree Modi, and oath was delivered by Dr. Sangappa Malagi. On the same day a book Allicorn and Unicorn written by Kumari Sanvi Modi (8-year-old) from San-francisco was released. BIS kids performed a skit as a tribute to the Indian soldiers in the memory of Kargil Vijay Diwas.

11. On 8th August, 2022, friendship day was celebrated by tying the band and wishing to each other. A Drama was performed to show Krishna-Sudama friendship by Nobel house students. Roles played by Sindh Hiremath (Krishna) Krupal Despande (Sudama).

12. On the eve of Amrit Mahotsav August 15th 2022, 75 feet of long National Flag was exhibited in the main streets of Muddebihal and Nalatwad by screaming the slogans of Patriotism- Har Ghar Tiranga Har man Tiranga.... etc on 10th August, 2022 and on 13th August, 2022 students performed 75 number by sitting and standing. For this, more than 250 students participated.  .

13. And on 11th August 2022 we celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying the Rakhi. Rakhi's were prepared by kids on their own and boys presented gifts to their sisters.

14. On 15th August, 2022 Independence day was celebrated with great pomp and show (great pride) Guest was Shri S.G. Kannur sir, retd teacher-spoke on how we got independence and how India is, in the place of world and what is the responsibility of the future generation, in making India as the crown of the world.

15. On 20th August, 2022, we celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on this day kids from KG section and 1st standard were dressed in the role of Krishna and Radha. House wise 4 groups and 1 girls group broke the Dahi Handi.

16. On 29th August, 2022 we organized the competition on preparing Ganesha idols on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. Maximum students participated and the lower class students prepared beautiful Ganesha idols with readymade clay, and showed the creativity and imagination power in Arts and on 31/8/2022 we celebrated Ganesha festival by installing Ganesha in school.

17. On 10th sep,2022 i.e. FA - 2 record observation more that so students exhibited about they are best at- 2×2,3x3,4x4 cube, Reverse tables, Reverse alphabet, cube roots, square roots etc.

18. On the eve of Navratri 3 days Dandiya practice was made from 28/9/2022 to 30/9/2022 and on 1st October 2022 organised. Maa Durga Pooja and everyone did Nartana seve to Maa Durga 'Dandiya' for this more than 150 mother participated and enjoyed the day with the blessings of Maa Durga.

19. On 20/10/22 we organised Diya preparation competition from Grade 4th to 9th All the - students brought plane Diyas and On it painted and decorated it .And from 1Grade to 3rd grade All students brought colour paper and made art and craft decorative item for Deepawali decoration.

20. On 22nd October 2022 we celebrated Deepawali by doing Maa Laxmi and Saraswati Pooja. All students wore colour dress and Wished each other and shared sweets and Darwin house students did skit -managing -Do not use crackers and not to pollute air.

21. On 29th October 2022 pick and speak was organised from Grade 4th to 9th. More than 80 topics were given each and every students participated and expressed their opinion of the selected topic.

22. On 1st November 2022, Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated by speaking Kannada and wearing Red and yellow dress. Students and Kannada Sir Mr. Anjaneyya Marigoudar spoke about Ho Karnataka came into existence.

23. On 5th November, 2022 freestyle dance was organised from Grade UKG to 9th Most of the students participated and danced according to the music which they participated and for every dancer a task of our own music /song was played and made them to dance according to our song.

24. On 14 th November, 2022 Children's Day for organized. Every class has 2 funny games to play from their class teacher. All kids participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the day with great happiness.

25. On 3rd Dec 2022 Mother's Recreation program was organized. In an effort to support young mothers of BIS students. Fun activities are:- Busting the Balloons in each other hand, b. Passing on vail, c. Musical Chair.

26. On 31st Dec, 2022 Annual sports meet was organized. Each class had 2 individual games and 3 group games for                housewise competition.

27. On 22nd January, 2023 Annual Day “TARANGA 2K23” was Organized.
